About Berkhamsted Poetry Society

Founded by Andrianne Philippou, a passionate and effective communicator whose love for poetry, literature and the creative arts has culminated in this collaborative society.

Seeking to create a space and community so she and others can share their creative works, it has grown into a group

that helps support each other's professional and

personal ambitions.

Welcoming participants from every walk of life, young

and old, from 'Berko' natives to nomadic travellers, the

diversity of personalities and life experiences extends

to the style, themes and meaning of the poetry

and material that's produced.

The sense of community, and open and equal expression,

is key for the society and its members.
